The system created dough noodles from an upstream extruder, using conveyors, and precisely feeds them into a sequence of forming stations. Advanced controls and timing ensure each dough strand is handled consistently, accurately positioning it for the twisting mechanism. The machine’s mechanically driven arms then twist the dough into the characteristic pretzel knot shape at high throughput rates. This automation reduces labor costs, improves product uniformity, increases output, and enhances food safety by minimizing operator’s direct contact with the dough.
