Zach Weaver

Meet Zach Weaver! Zach is a Sophomore at Warwick High School and has been working part-time at Graybill Machines for a year. He does a great job helping us to keep a clean work environment and he is  learning valuable skills working on customer jobs.  Zach intends to enroll in Lancaster County Career & Technology Program to study Machining.

PMCA

Rob Wolfgang, Sales Engineer recently showcased Graybill Machines’ equipment and capabilities at the PMCA (Professional Manufacturing Confectioners Association) conference at the Mariott Convention Center Lancaster, PA. Conference was well attended, and connections were made!

Job Shadow Program

We welcomed Luke MacNair today to job shadow one of our engineers, Shawn Sauder. Luke is a freshman at University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and is studying mechanical engineering. During his visit Luke will be exposed to the software programs we use in designing our custom food processing machinery as well as a glimpse into our work environment

Water Jacketed Double Hopper

This water jacketed hopper was recently completed for a customer. It's designed to hold two different materials, such as peanut butter and chocolate. Both hopper sides are sealed from each other so that each side can operate at its own temperature. The fabricators challenge was to ensure all seams were welded precisely to prevent water leaks.…

Retirees

We welcomed retirees back for a recent employee luncheon.  It’s always great to see our retirees and express appreciation for all their years of service.

Honoring Don Nolt

Honoring and remembering Donald S. Nolt who passed away October 24th. Don was a valued employee at Graybill Machines for 38 years, retiring at the age of 82. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Cross-training

Cross-training in action! Ethan and Arley, two of our mechanical engineers are helping in our assembly shop.  Ethan is wiring a control panel and Arley is helping with mechanical assembly.  Both are learning new skills and helping to balance the workload at Graybill Machines.  Thanks for your help Arley and Ethan!

National Aviation Day

It’s National Aviation Day! Meet Steve Lougee, one of Graybill Machines’ skilled machinist.  Steve is also a commercial pilot working toward the goal of flying for a major airline, which requires 1500 flight hours and ATP (air transport pilot) certification.
