Honeybun Cutter & Proofer Loader

A customer was having large amounts of lost production and waste due to honeybuns being folded over, loaded one on top of another, hanging off ends of proofer trays, or otherwise misplaced at the proofer tray loading, and had multiple people attempting to assist the loading machine.

Graybill designed and built a replacement guillotine and proofer loader that placed the dough pieces on the proofer trays in a repeatable pattern, without damage, and with control over the spacing. After eliminating the product lost due to damage and the people assisting loading, Graybill was able to increase the operating speed for a triple gain in productivity.
